The day the bridge fell down
Wow that bridge falling down in America is really scary news. It also reminds me - does anyone else remember that US mini-series from the 80s called The Night The Bridge Fell Down? It was so gripping but I missed the second part (had to go to bed, was young). Did I imagine it???

Don't remember it... but this story did remind me of the Richard Gere flick 'The Mothman Prophecies'...

hmm i feel bad about seeming flippant about all this (it's on the news now). maybe i will edit my comment.
It's weird, because that bridge is just around the corner from where I lived over there. The train track that the bridge crushed when it fell ran just behind our flat. It's a bit eerie to see it on telly.
